The Artists of Old Stables Pottery & Gallery
Old Stables Pottery is home to a growing community of artists whose work reflects a deep connection to the land, craft, and culture of the South West. From skilled potters creating on-site to painters and makers whose art resonates with both locals and travellers, each artist brings their unique voice and story to the gallery.
Together, they shape a space where creativity thrives, craftsmanship is honoured, and every piece holds meaning. We’re proud to showcase regional talent and invite you to discover the hands and hearts behind the work.
Landscapes in Light
Gerald Ashcroft
We’re honoured to showcase nine stunning plein air works by West Australian artist Gerald Ashcroft. Painted on site in Mullalyup, Balingup and surrounds, these luminous landscapes capture the shifting light, rich colours and quiet spirit of our region. A visual love letter to the South West—now on display in the gallery.
Simple forms & elemental glazes
Hayley Bangham
Hayley’s work is a beautiful expression of elemental ceramics — grounded, graceful, and deeply intentional. At Old Stables Pottery Gallery, we’re proud to showcase her quiet, refined forms. Guided by simplicity and a deep respect for clay, Hayley creates pieces that feel both timeless and alive — shaped by hand, fire, and a true love for the craft.
Painted Nature, Living Light
Patty Pearce
Yallingup artist Patty Pearce brings a lifetime of quiet observation and joyful colour to her vibrant floral works and characterful creatures. A student of the late Robert Juniper, Patty returned to painting later in life — a creative calling that never truly left her. Her canvases are full of energy, warmth and light, capturing the beauty of nature with a painter’s eye and a storyteller’s heart. We’re delighted to share her spirited work with you at the Old Stables Pottery Gallery.
